CELLULAR OUTAGE IN U.S. HITS AT&T, T-MOBILE, AND VERIZON USERS
(DEVELOPING STORY) – AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other network users reported a cellular outage in the United States this morning.
The number of reports of AT&T outages peaked at 31,931 at around 4:30 a.m. ET, according to data from Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from sources including user-submitted errors on its platform, showed.
There was no reason initially given for the outage.
Crews are working to restore service as soon as possible.
Some users will show SOS where the service bars are normally located.
If your phone has the SOS you can make emergency calls.
AT&T users who still can text can text 911 in an emergency.
