CHAINSAW THEFT AT LOWE’S

Yesterday at 9:12 a.m. Crossville Police units were dispatched to Lowe’s in reference to a theft report. Upon arriving, Officer Stephen McNeal made contact with an official with Lowe’s who said a male subject entered the store at the garden entrance on September 9th, grabbed a shopping cart, and went to the outdoor power equipment area.
He then selected two Craftsman 16-inch chainsaws and exited the store at around 5:23 p.m. passing all points of sale. Officer McNeal reviewed the video footage and identified the male subject as Kurt Sanders.
A warrant was written on Sanders for theft of property, with a total value of the property estimated at $338.
Sanders was served his warrant at intake and video footage of the theft was placed into evidence.
