Cumberland County deputies and firefighters responded yesterday to a vehicle blaze on the 1600 block of Mount Vernal Road.

Officers arrived to see a Chevy S-10 fully engulfed in flames.

The owner told deputies he was in his backyard working on a trailer when he smelled something burning.

He walked around the side of his house and observed smoke coming from the Chevy.

The report indicates the owner was having issues with the vehicle over the last year.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
