For months now there has been speculation of Chick-Fil-La locating a store in Crossville. We’ve done some research among those ‘in the know’ and the best we can tell – it is a very good possibility. There is a piece of land on 127 North near the interstate and close to Balou’s Furniture Gallery that apparently is in ‘negotiations’ to be purchased by ‘somebody’ and that somebody, according to our sources – is Chick-Fil-A. We have reached out to the Cookeville Chick-Fil-A and a manager told us they have ‘heard’ a store may be located in Crossville in the future but they have not received official notification from ‘corporate’. We have learned at least one official with the county and/or city government is confident about Chick-Fil-A coming to Crossville.
