In Wayne County, Kentucky, sheriff’s deputies investigated child-abuse complaints at a local daycare facility Friday. After reviewing video of the incident and conducting interviews, deputies submitted their findings to the Wayne County Attorney’s Office, seeking arrest warrants for two employees of the unnamed facility involved in the incident.

Arrest warrants were secured Monday and deputies, along with Kentucky State Troopers, arrested and charged Diana Myers of Monticello, Kentucky, with first-degree criminal abuse of a child 12 years or under. Tasha L. Cox, also of Monticello, was charged with failure to report child neglect/abuse. Both women were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.

An investigation is continuing.
