A recent two-vehicle accident in Crossville resulted in an injury.

The crash report states a 2021 Toyota Tacoma driven by 62-year-old Harold G. Garrett of Maryville and a 2011 Toyota operated by 43-year-old Michael Harold King of Knoxville were traveling on I-40 eastbound when they exited the interstate and approached Genesis Road. Police say Garrett collided with King while trying to turn onto Genesis Road.

The only injury was to an 8-year-old in the vehicle King was driving. The child was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
