NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A child is in critical condition after being shot in the face on I-24 near the Hickory Hollow Parkway exit in Davidson County Saturday Night.  Metro Police tells Fox 17 News that the incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. Police say the suspect in the shooting is a black male riding in the driver’s seat of a white Ford four door sedan.

The child was transported to Vanderbilt University and is in critical but stable condition.  At this time the shooting remains under investigation.
