CHRIS KING ELECTED CUMBERLAND COUNTY BOE’S CHAIRMAN PRO TEM
6th District Cumberland County Board of Education member Chris King was elected chairmen pro tem during a meeting last week on Thursday. King will hold the position until a new permanent chairman is elected on Sept. 1.
King was nominated by 3rd District member Sheri Nichols and 9th District member Shannon Stout.
New Board members Scott VanWinkle and Travis Cole will be replacing 2nd District’s Robert Safdie and 8th District’s Teresa Boston respectively on September 1st.
