CHRISTIAN HOUSTON NABBED ON POSSESSION, EVADING ARREST, OTHER CHARGES

Late Sunday night, a Cumberland County deputy noticed a car pulling into a driveway on the 80 block of Kearney Drive. He knows the residents of the home and knew the vehicle didn’t belong there. In speaking with the driver, the officer learned the passenger, 26-year-old Christian Gage Houston of Crossville, told her to pull in there. Houston, returning to the vehicle from the rear of the residence, claimed he’d been looking for Jacob Pharr.

Residents of the home said they didn’t know Houston and a Jacob Pharr had never lived there. Houston attempted to flee on foot. The deputy pursued Houston, repeatedly warning he would be tased if he didn’t stop. Houston refused to stop and was tased.

A search of Houston turned up approximately two grams of meth. Dispatch confirmed Houston had an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.

Houston was charged with manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth; evading arrest, resisting arrest and violation of probation. He was placed under $30,000 bond and is due in court March 11.
