CITY OF CROSSVILLE TO TAKE PUBLIC COMMENTS ON PROPOSED RECREATIONAL COMPLEX
As locals continue to debate the City of Crossville’s proposed 40 million dollar indoor recreational complex, they will now have the chance to voice their opinion in an upcoming public comment meeting.
The forum will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, in Crossville City Hall. Attorney Randy York said the meeting is a requirement of the state statute that allowed for the creation of the Crossville Sports Authority, the board that will oversee funding and construction of the complex.
There has been a lot of controversy over the largest Crossville financial project ever since the City Council would not allow a referendum of City voters to either accept the proposed rec center or reject it.
