CLARKRANGE MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS, VIOLATION OF SEX-OFFENDER REGISTRY

Tuesday afternoon, Crossville Police conducted a routine traffic stop and encountered 36-year-old Robert Allen Todd, Jr. of Clarkrange, who stated he had no driver’s license. A search of the vehicle turned up one oxymorphone pill and a straw containing drug residue. Dispatch confirmed Todd is a registered sex offender in Tennessee, and the van he was operating was not registered with the sex-offender registry in order for him to operate it. Todd was charged with driving without a license, simple possession of a Schedule II drug, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the sex-offender registry.
