CLEVELAND MAN CONVICTED IN 2015 MURDER CASE

A Cleveland man has been convicted of first degree murder. Officials say that Jody Alan Hughes was convicted in the October 2015 death of Tyler Worth. Worth had been missing for days when his body was found rolled up in a tarp which had been thrown in a ravine in Polk County. Hughes was also charged with kidnapping, tampering with evidence, and conspiracy to tamper with evidence. The 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office assisted the Bradley County Criminal Investigations Division in the case.
