CLEVELAND POLICE CHARGE MAN WITH FIRING GUN AT FEMALE AT POINT BLANK RANGE

A man is in custody in Cleveland, TN for firing a handgun at a woman at point-blank range. Cleveland Police and Bradley County Deputies were called to 3550 Adkisson Drive NW for the incident. Authorities say that 37-year-old Wade Donshonnell Keitt pointed a gun and fired at Carmen Neloms in front of his apartment. A 9mm pistol and spent cartridge was discovered in the parking lot. Keitt was ordered to come to the door, where he was taken into custody without further incident. Neloms was not injured. During the investigation it was learned that Keitt was a convicted felon and the gun had been reported stolen from a Cleveland location on Dec. 21, 2017. Keitt has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawfully carrying a weapon, reckless endangerment and theft.
