PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE STATE ARE CLOSED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. SCHOOL WILL RESUME IN AUGUST 2020.

TENNESSEE COLLEGE OF APPLIED TECHNOLOGY – Suspended in-person classes for now

BRYAN COLLEGE (Rhea County) – Suspended classes for now

ROANE STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE – Campuses are closed. All classes are online for the rest of the semester. Commencement is postponed.

CHURCHES IN THE COVERAGE AREA

(since the stay at home order will expire April 30, 2020….churches should be able to resume services after May 1, 2020. You are encouraged to check with your church on exactly when in person services will resume.)

CLOSINGS – CUMBERLAND COUNTY

(The Stay at Home order will expire on April 30, 2020. The majority of businesses in the coverage area will resume operations starting May 1, 2020. Check with the business or organization in question to get an exact resume date and time)

A Time 4 Paws – Thrift Store and Adoption Center is closed to visitors until further notice.

127 Senior Center is closed until further notice.

Art Circle Public Library – closed until further notice. All library items due in March or April have been extended to May 4, 2020.

Avalon Center’s in-person support groups – cancelled because of concerns around COVID-19. The center will now host weekly groups online until further notice. Please message or call us at (931) 456-0747 if you have any concerns around safety, confidentiality or accessing the support group software. Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain golf course is closed until further notice.

Burkes in Crossville is temporarily closed.

Catoosa Utility District office is closed to the public and accepting only drop off payments

Christian Academy of the Cumberlands Live Auction & Dinner has been rescheduled for May 22, 2020.

Crab Orchard Care Center will be temporarily closed for food distribution until further notice.  Crab Orchard Care Center anticipates reviewing the situation May 1, 2020 and will make a new announcement at that time. You can follow Crab Orchard Care Center on Facebook for further updates.

Crossroads Art and Craft League – canceled May 2-3 spring craft show.

Crossville City Courts  – all IN PERSON appearances in court is suspended until May 19, 2020. If you have a court date before May 19, 2020 call the court for a new date.

Crossville Depot – closed until further notice.

Crossville Medical Group Walk-in Clinic at Fairfield Glade is closed until further notice.

Crossville trash collections – All trash collected by Cumberland Waste Disposal must be properly bagged, tied and inside the trash container. For the safety of CWD employees, no trash outside the trash container will be picked up. Any trash exceeding the capacity of the trash container should be taken to and disposed of at local convenience centers. The city of Crossville contracts with CWD for its trash pick-up, and this stipulation applies to all city residents who utilize this service.

Crossville Water Department – Customers can pay water bills at the drive-thru or in the night drop after hours. The public can call (931) 484-5113 to turn on water service or get help with a water account.

Crossville Youth Baseball and Softball will follow the lead of the Cumberland County School System. If schools close, we will suspend practices/games until the date they return to school.

Crossville Youth Sports League is suspended for now.

Cumberland County Animal Shelter will be conducting adoptions and reclaims by appointment only. The shelter will take appointments between the hours of 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Please call (931) 484-8525 to set up appointments.

Cumberland County Archives – closed until further notice.

Cumberland County Community Complex – all events canceled until May 10, 2020.

Cumberland County courts – all IN PERSON appearances in court is suspended until at least April 30, 2020. If you have a court date on or before April 30, 2020 call the court for a new date.

Cumberland County jail will have no contact visitation at this time. Inmate visitation will continue with two adults only per inmate and no children allowed.

Cumberland County Rescue Squad’s “Run for the Rescue” has been postponed and now will be held in the fall of 2020

Cumberland Medical Center – visitors are no longer allowed in the hospital as of March 21, 2020. Exceptions include visiting a loved one for end-of-life care, a visitor vital to the care of a patient in the hospital, patients coming for surgery or testing may have one caregiver accompany them, and women giving birth may have one birthing partner, doula, or caregiver.

Cumberland Mountain State Park  – will reopen April 24, 2020

Fair Park Senior Center in Crossville is closed to the general public at this time.

Fairfield Glade board committee meetings canceled through April 30, 2020.

Fairfield Glade Community Club –  All operations and facilities closed to members and visitors until further notice; this closure affects the Fairfield Glade Community and Conference Center, all golf facilities and clubhouses, marinas, and the Racquet Center.

Fairfield Glade golf course is closed until further notice.

Fairfield Glade sewer and public works divisions, including trash pickup, will continue to operate.

The Gone Show scheduled for the Palace Theatre in Crossville has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. May 22, 2020. Tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date.

Good Samaritans Society of Fairfield Glade is limiting visitation to its residents.

Homestead Tower Museum and Homestead Harvest Restaurant at Cumberland Mountain State Park is closed at this time.

HonorAir Knoxville – postponed Flight 30, scheduled for April 15, 2020 to October 7, 2020. This flight is reserved for women veterans.

Lake Tansi Tuesday and Thursday chair volleyball is canceled until further notice.

Lake Tansi golf course is closed until further notice.

Lake Tansi POA office lobby is closed to the public. The office will be open to staff answering questions and accepting payments at (931) 788-6721 and [email protected] during regular business hours from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Lake Tansi Wednesday Bingo canceled until further notice.

Life Care Center of Crossville has visitation restrictions in place at this time.

Palace Theatre events are canceled until the end of April.

Plateau Chapter 297 Korean War Veterans Association – April meeting is canceled.

Plateau Discovery Gardens – canceled all classes and events open to the public until further notice.

Plateau Women’s Chorus – all spring events rescheduled to mid-August.

Thunderbird Recreation Center in Lake Tansi is closed to the public until further notice.

All UCHRA offices continue to remain closed to the public because of public health concerns related to COVID-19. Our staff will continue to assist clients primarily via phone and email. Individuals seeking assistance through the Low-Inome Home Energy Asssistance Program (LIHEAP) should contact their local office via phone. Transit services will continue to operate in order to provide individuals with transportation to and from medical appointments, the grocery store, and other needs. Upland Village is limiting visitation to its residents.

Upper Cumberland Development District office continues to remain closed to the public because of public health concerns related to COVID-19. Our staff will continue to assist clients primarily via phone and email. Essential services such as nutrition will continue. Individuals seeking assistance through programs and services offered by UCDD are encouraged to contact the office by calling (931) 432-4111.

Wellness Complex at Fairfield Glade is closed until further notice.

West Cumberland Utility District lobby is closed until further notice. Bills can still be paid on their website at wcutility.com, over the phone at (931) 277-5376, in the night drop box and through the mail.

WyndRidge Health and Rehabilitation Center asks that no one visit their location unless absolutely necessary.

CLOSINGS – ROANE COUNTY

The Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition office will be closed until further notice.

Roane Medical Center – visitors are no longer allowed in the hospital. ROCKWOOD

Rockwood City Hall is closed to the public. Employees will still be present to conduct day to day business.

All Rockwood City League baseball and softball practices are canceled

Rockwood Community Center – closed for all activities

Rockwood Library  – closed to the public

The Rockwood Water, Sewer and Natural Gas office is closed to the public. Employees will still be present to conduct day to day business. Payments can be made online or may be dropped into the night drop. If you need new services or have issues that have to be dealt with by a person, (such as cash payments) please call 865-354-0611 for city business and 865-354-0163 for Water, Sewer & Natural Gas.

HARRIMAN

The Harriman Community Center will be closed, and baseball and softball activities have been suspended for at least a week.

Harriman Public Library is closed until further notice.

KINGSTON

Kingston Parks and Recreation and their sport’s leagues will follow suit with Roane County Schools decision to cancel all sporting activities, practices and games, until April 24, 2020.

AREA ATTRACTIONS

Dollywood – opening delayed until May. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa operations suspended. Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins remain open at this time. Guests with resort reservations or tickets for this period of temporary closure, are asked to call 1-800-DOLLYWOOD for rescheduling information.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park — Parks will reopen Friday, April 24, 2020.

Historic Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary – delayed the 2020 season opening until further notice.

Historic Rugby – temporarily closed to the public until April 30, 2020.

Nashville Symphony – suspended all ticketed performances at Schermerhorn Symphony Center through May 12, 2020. Ticketholders can call (615) 687-6400 for details.

Pigeon Forge attractions – closed until May 6, 2020 include the Comedy Barn Theater, Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud, Pirates Voyage and Smoky Mountain Opry.

Tennessee Medieval Faire in Harriman – May event postponed with tentative plans for October 2020.

Tennessee Pirate Fest in Harriman – postponed until spring 2021.
