Cumberland County deputies responded to the 200 block of Cline Road yesterday to an accident involving golf carts. Officers say one operated by 61-year-old Michael Steve Cardin of Crossville rammed another occupied by a male and female resulting in the woman being ejected on the road. The two are neighbors according to the arrest report. She was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment. Cardin was arrested for aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident.
