CONLEY SENTENCED IN DEADLY DOUBLE VEHICLE HOMICIDE CASE

A man charged with a deadly vehicle crash late last year entered a plea of guilty in Bradley County court today.

A judge sentenced Patricke Conley to 22 years to serve in prison.

Conley faced charges including two counts of vehicular homicide by intoxication and three counts of vehicular assault by intoxication.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office says Conley was drunk when he was driving on Highway 64.

Conley was driving after dark on Christmas Day of last year when he left his lane of the divided roadway, crossed the grass median, went airborne, and landed on a car containing the Dillard family.

Brittney Dillard was killed, along with her husband Dustin.

The couple’s three young sons were in the back seat. All three sustained serious injuries, but the three survived.
