A convicted sex offender in Roane County found himself back behind bars Friday. Officers took 57-year-old Gary Wayne Pierce of Oliver Springs into custody on two counts of violation of the sex offender registry and two counts of criminal impersonation. According to the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, Pierce was convicted in 1998 for enticing a child for indecent purposes.
