COOKEVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE FELONIES AFTER HOME INVASION
According to a report by the Herald Citizen, on October 16, a 36-year-old Cookeville man named Russell Moss was arrested and charged with multiple felonies following a violent home invasion and subsequent police pursuit.
According to a report by Cookeville Police Officer Hayden Atkinson, officers responded to a domestic disturbance call after Moss allegedly forced his way into a local residence, where he assaulted occupants and engaged in behavior that endangered a child.
When confronted by authorities, Moss fled the scene, leading police on a high-speed chase that ultimately ended in his capture.
Among the serious charges filed against him are aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, child abuse or neglect, evading arrest, unlawful possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.
