A woman from Cookeville was shot and killed in Ohio earlier this week. Ashley Sides was killed in Brookeville, a suburb of Dayton. Police say that Sides was involved in an incident involving two vehicles on an interstate which led to a crash. During the course of the incident a shootout took place which involved police, one officer was wounded and Sides was killed. Her boyfriend, Conrad Davis, was taken into custody. No further information was given.
