COUPLE STEALS FROM WALMART AND FOUND WITH METH

On Friday, July 1st officers were called to Crossville Walmart for theft. Walmart employees had observed a couple not paying for items and began to be very argumentative with them. When officers arrived, Traci Cook, 29 kept her hand shoved into her purse. When authorities told her to put her hands behind her back she kept fumbling inside her purse and then put her closed fist behind her back like she was trying to conceal something. After not cooperating, officers put her under arrest and while doing so, Jacob Boles got involved shouting “Hey, that’s my wife” and tried to stop officers from arresting Traci Cook. Jacob Boles, age 30 was then arrested as well.

Traci Cook admitted she purposely didn’t scan the items and planned to leave without paying for the items that totaled $185. Officers later found her with a glass pipe, and a plastic baggie containing 4.10g of methamphetamine.
