The case against a couple each charged with first-degree murder was heard in Cumberland County Criminal Court yesterday. Officers say 35-year-old Kirk Douglas Clark and 35-year-old Doneal Marie Clark each face additional charges of aggravated assault and theft. The shooting occurred at a home on Cherokee Trail in January of 2019. One individual, 74-year-old Linda Damewood, was confirmed dead at the scene. Two others, 63-year-old Andrew Schan and 73-year-old Ellen Cairns, were injured from gunshot wounds. In court yesterday, it was announced the cases will be heard again in court on May 12, 2020.
