COW STRANDED IN COVE ON DALE HOLLOW LAKE RESCUED
Earlier this week, a cow was reported stranded after it slipped off a steep bank and ended up in a cove on Dale Hollow Lake in eastern Clay County. Many of out listeners and readers were curious as to the outcome. We can report today an incredible effort to save the cow was successful yesterday, thanks to the East Clay Volunteer Fire Department. Chief Ronnie Hummel, Mickey Ledbetter, Larry Shell, Bob Patterson and James Brown worked diligently to save the animal.
