Cumberland County, TN- On Thursday, December 15th, officers were dispatched for possible vandalism at the Crab Orchard Post Office. The office has an open lobby with 24-hour access and when the postmaster arrived, he came in to discover someone had been in the office throughout the overnight hours and brought in a chair, vandalized the Christmas wreath, and even possibly urinated in the corner underneath the desk. There were numerous notes with the subject, Cody Gibson’s name, and number posted throughout the lobby.  Gibson had been seen in the area earlier that morning near the post office, but no one has been charged as of yet.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office will have extra patrol in that area and is attempting to retrieve video footage from the Crab Orchard Fire Hall. This is still under investigation.
