From Sparta Rescue Squad:

At approximately 10:00 pm on July 31 the Sparta-White County Rescue along with Eastland Volunteer Fire Department, Bon De Croft Volunteer Fire Department, White County Sheriff’s Office, White County Emergency Services, and Tennessee Park Rangers were dispatched to an individual who had fallen and hit their head at Virgin Falls. Responding agencies worked together using SXS and walking the trail to access the individual to safely extricate from the trail. As always, we are thankful to work alongside our neighbors in serving our community.
