Two individuals in Cumberland County face a charge after a recent incident on Meadow Creek Drive. Deputies state a homeowner told them a female reportedly took automobile batteries off her porch, carried it to an awaiting Ford Mustang occupied by a male and the two fled the scene. A deputy stopped the vehicle on Bent Tree Drive. Officers arrested 36-year-old Cassie Ann Lester and 35-year-old Joshua Lee Cross, both of Crossville, for theft of property.
