CROSSVILLE BEER BOARD TO MEET OVER UNDERAGE ALCOHOL SALES
The Crossville Beer Board will hold a Special-Called meeting to decide the fate of three businesses that were cited for selling alcohol to an underage patron last year. On Dec. 1st 2016, the Crossville Police Dept, working along with special agents from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, entered several local bars and package stores with a 20-year-old male working in official capacity. During the undercover operation The Butcher’s Block, The Blind Zebra and La Costa Mexican Restaurant, all served the underage customer an alcoholic beverage. Those employees serving the underage person alcohol were issued a misdemeanor citation for liquor by the drink. The board will meet at 6 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 7th in the third floor conference room at City Hall.
