CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES SALE OF BOTTLE ROCKETS WITHIN CITY LIMITS

Yesterday, the Crossville City Council approved an amendment to the city’s firework ordinance that would allow the sale of Bottle Rockets within city limits for the Christmas and July 4th season.
The original ordinance read:
“Fireworks may only be used within the City between June 20 and July 5 and between December 10 and January 2 the following year, except when used in a public display which has received a permit from the State Fire Marshal. It shall be unlawful to use, sell or explode “bottle” rockets, except in a public display according to § 7-507.”
It has been amended to read:
“Fireworks may only be used within the City between June 20 and July 5 and between December 10 and January 2 the following year, except when used in a public display which has received a permit from the State Fire Marshal.”
