Crossville City Council met last night and discussed four possible design options to move forward with the proposed indoor recreation center.

Upland Design Group Architect Kim Chamberlin said each of the options include a gym, indoor pool, a fitness component and an indoor track.  His firm went over each of the four design schemes. and discussed ideas for different configurations of the elements. They also discussed the potential for future expansions such as an outdoor pool.

Chamberlin said that after receiving input from last nights meeting, his firm would like return in July with an even more refined idea of what the rec center will look like.  He indicated that after selection of a final plan, he felt like construction could be completed in 20 – 22 months.
