CROSSVILLE DETECTIVES DONATE TO UNASHAMED MINISTRIES

Yesterday, the Crossville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit presented Cassondra Ragan, representing Unashamed Ministries, with a donation check for $540.  The money will be used to take local, under privileged, teenage children shopping for school clothes.

Starting in February 2019, the detectives began donating five dollars each week to a local charity or not for profit organization, which would be selected each year. The donations help area programs give back to our community. This year, in order for Unashamed to help more children by shopping on tax free weekend, the check was presented early. The members of the Criminal Investigations Unit hope to match or exceed this donation amount by February of 2020, the end of this donation cycle.

The Crossville Police Department is proud their detectives chosen to participate in this program that will benefit the City of Crossville and the community. Their dedication and selfless attitudes are a shining example of what it means to be professional law enforcement officers.
