CROSSVILLE FAMILY OF EIGHT ESCAPES DEVASTATING HOUSE FIRE UNHARMED

According to several sources, on Saturday, a devastating house fire in Crossville destroyed the home of Trenton Glossenger, Autumn Feustel, and their six children, leaving the family of eight with nothing but the clothes they were wearing and temporarily staying in a hotel.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m., awakening Glossenger, who quickly alerted Feustel; she evacuated the children safely while he attempted to fight the flames and retrieve essentials, narrowly escaping as the ceiling collapsed and thick smoke filled the house—he emerged blinded but unharmed, protected by a comforter.
The blaze consumed their entire home, possessions, vehicle, phones, and wallets in mere minutes, but remarkably, no one was injured, a fact the family emphasized as their greatest blessing, with Feustel noting that material items can be replaced but loved ones cannot. The Crossville community responded with overwhelming support, donating food, clothing, and even a brand new car with six months of insurance, while the Red Cross provided hotel assistance; the family credited prior practice of an emergency escape route for their safe exit and expressed deep gratitude for the help allowing them to focus on recovery.
Ongoing donations are being collected through local groups like 2 Guyz Garage and The CROSSvlle Boxing Club on Facebook.
