CROSSVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR SECOND TIME IN THREE DAYS

A Crossville man arrested this week found himself back in jail on a separate incident. Police responded yesterday to the 20 block of East First Street where 39-year-old Donald Dale McDonough was standing outside his vehicle in the road, yelling at another motorist. The report states McDonough opened the passenger door of his car, grabbed a baby that was in a car seat, placed the child next to the vehicle and continued to yell. A bystander put the child back into the car as police attempted to handcuff McDonough. He allegedly resisted, causing an officer to grab his taser. McDonough was handcuffed and then reportedly threatened the officer twice. The male victim told authorities McDonough got out and kicked the victim’s vehicle. McDonough was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and vandalism. McDonough had been arrested at the Cumberland County Justice Center this past Monday for assault after attacking a man in front of a courtroom door.
