CROSSVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON FACES UPCOMING COURT DEADLINE
A Cumberland County man accused of setting fire to a Crossville home earlier this year is scheduled to appear in court next week.
According to public court records, 25-year-old Cobie Rhyan Hurley is set for a deadline hearing in Cumberland County Circuit Court on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
The appearance stems from an arson indictment filed on June 16, 2026. The charge follows a joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office into a January 22 incident in the 300 block of Chestnut Hill.
Hurley was taken into custody on June 18 and booked into the Cumberland County Jail. He is being represented by a public defender, and his bond remains set at $100,000.
