CROSSVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF COUNTERFEIT CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

A homeless man in Crossville is facing drug charges. Police responded yesterday to a home on Braun Street for an unwanted person. Officers encountered 48-year-old Frank Henry Quince and a small pouch reportedly fell from Quince with a baggie containing meth hanging out of it. The report states officers found a used syringe in Quince’s shoe. What appeared to be heroin was found in a baggie allegedly in Quince’s possession but a test revealed it was not heroin but believed to be dirt. Since the brown substance was packaged as if it was going to be sold as a narcotic, Quince was charged with possession of a counterfeit controlled substance. Quince was also arrested for felony possession of meth.

This is not the first run in with Quince and the Crossville Police Department.

Early last month, officers responded to Woodmere Mall for a man reportedly chasing a vehicle armed with a knife. The report states Quince pulled the weapon on a subject at the skating rink. The victim was able to get inside of a vehicle and leave only to have Quince chase him around the parking lot still armed with the knife. Police found Quince sitting on a table next to Dairy Queen and took him into custody.
