CROSSVILLE MAN GETS BLACKMAILED AFTER SNAPCHAT GETS HACKED

On Tuesday, Crossville police officers talked to a 22-year-old male about someone hacking his Snapchat account. The male stated that he had to log back into his Snapchat that morning after randomly being logged out. He said that a Snapchat user by the name ” baijadee” began sending him messages on Snapchat threatening to send his intimate photos and videos to his friends and family. The unknown user requested to have $1,000 in gift cards to keep from sending the photos and videos. When the male would take too long to reply to their messages, the user sent private images and videos to people he knew and posted them to his Twitter account.

The male also stated that he cannot think of anyone who may be mad at him and would try to get him back for anything.
