CROSSVILLE MAN HURT IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON PEAVINE ROAD

A Crossville man sustained injuries in a recent accident in Cumberland County. Deputies say in their report released today a vehicle operated by 68-year-old Kenneth W. Baker was traveling south on the 11,000 block of Peavine Road near Daddy’s Creek when he lost control in a curve. The automobile went down a 15 foot embankment and struck a tree. Baker, who was restrained, was transported by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained. Officers noted in their report the road was slick at the time of the accident.
