CROSSVILLE MAN TASERED TWICE DURING INCIDENT AT HOSPITAL

A subject was tased by Crossville police yesterday after reportedly failing to comply with an officers order to stop during an incident at Cumberland Medical Center. The arrest report states police were called there for a wanted person brought in by medics. As officers arrived, 39-year-old Joshua Hunter Brown, took off on foot and was being chased by a hospital security officer. Police gave multiple commands for Brown to stop followed by a taser being deployed striking Brown. He still allegedly refused to follow instructions and was tased a second time. After being medically cleared, Brown was taken into custody and transported to jail.
