Crossville police responded over the weekend to check a subject in a vehicle at Heather Ridge Apartments. Dispatch confirmed 31-year-old Timothy Joseph Thompson of Crossville was wanted by Florida authorities for leaving the scene of an accident involving a death. Thompson was arrested and taken to the Cumberland County jail where he will await Florida officers to pick him up.
