CROSSVILLE OFFICERS RESPOND TO AUTO ZONE FOR VANDALISM

A Crossville city officer was dispatched to Auto Zone for vandalism on Friday.

When he arrived, the officer spoke with a construction worker who showed him the damage to a new concrete pad that had been poured and smoothed out the day before. However, while the construction crew had left it to dry overnight, it appeared someone drove through the damp concrete. The construction crew stated they had put orange traffic barriers around the drying concrete pad and when they arrived the next morning, the now-dried concrete had tire marks across it. Along with the tire tracks, the names Sarah and Jamie were drawn in the corner of the concrete.

The estimated cost to repair the damage is $7,500. This case is under investigation.
