CROSSVILLE POLICE ARREST ONE AFTER HE WAS FOUND SNOOPING IN A RESIDENT’S GARAGE

Crossville police were called to Vaughn Steet Monday after reports of a male subject were seen entering a residence that he didn’t have permission to be in.

Officers arrived at the home where they spoke with a neighbor who claimed she did not know the male. She stated she witnessed the male pulling on the garage door and going inside. While speaking with another neighbor, she claimed that the residence was private property and she saw him jump the fence into the backyard.

An officer then deployed a K9 and began searching. Near the woods, they found 43-year-old Jeffery Lynn Tabor.

When officers spoke with the homeowner, he had recorded video footage of the male at his residence entering his garage. Copies were emailed to investigators.

Jeffery Tabor was charged with Aggravated Criminal Trespassing.
