CROSSVILLE POLICE CHARGE 2 WITH MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY/SALE OF DRUGS

The Crossville Police Dept. has finally released the report on two subjects that were recently arrested on drug charges. Officers stopped a blue Chevy Cruze on Highway 70 West due to a tip that the driver may have been involved in illegal activities. While authorities talked to the driver, 33-year-old Kenneth Toebbe, they could smell the odor of marijuana from the car. A passenger, 31-year-old Allen Armstrong, was also detained. Armstrong had $1668 in cash on his person. Another $652 in cash was found in a rolled up paper towel in the trunk, along with oxymorphone pills and marijuana. During a strip search at the jail intake, 20 additional pills were found on Armstrong. Both Toebbe and Armstrong were charged with manufacture, delivery, sale of drugs.
