The scammers are at it again with multiple calls daily claiming your social security number has been compromised, cancelled or is suspended.

Police simply say hang up and do not engage in these type of calls.

This is not real. It is a scam.

The IRS does NOT keep track of your cell phone or home phone number. If you have an issue, you will be notified by mail with official IRS forms and mailing envelopes. They will NEVER call your cell phone and ask you for digital money transfers of any type.
