Two people with outstanding warrants from different counties were recently apprehended in Crossville. An officer observed a Hyundai sedan traveling through a private field owned by the Crossville Airport. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle due to a window tinting violation. The driver was identified as 39-year-old Jeremy Craig Shirley of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. The female passenger was 33-year-old Billie Jo Sage of Rockwood. Shirley did not have a valid driver’s license and was wanted out of Putnam County. Sage had an active warrant from Oliver Springs. Both will be extradited.
