CROSSVILLE POLICE SEIZE 7 OUNCES OF METHAMPHETAMINE, ARREST TWO IN DRUG BUST

On Friday, April 10, 2026, in the early morning hours, the Crossville Police Department’s Patrol Division and Narcotics Detectives, working together with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, carried out a proactive enforcement operation targeting methamphetamine distribution in the region.

The effort, which grew out of ongoing investigations and surveillance, resulted in the seizure of approximately seven ounces of suspected methamphetamine—valued at several thousand dollars on the street—as well as about $2,300 in cash believed to be drug sale proceeds. Two individuals were arrested at the scene without incident.

Charges against them are pending as the investigation continues and is reviewed with the District Attorney’s Office. Officials emphasized that the successful inter-agency collaboration demonstrates a strong commitment to combating illegal narcotics and removing harmful substances from the community.
