Officers were called to the area of New Lantana Road for a firearm found in the ditch on Saturday.

According to the police report, a United States Postal Worker had observed the firearm while working his route. The firearm was collected by officers at Ford Street. The firearm was a Ruger P95 and was in rough condition with heavy rust, no grips, and no magazine.

The gun was taken, labeled, and placed in evidence at the Crossville City Police Department.
