On Sunday, May 22, Officers responded to a call from Crossville Walmart about a shoplifter. A male had taken a tent and headed for the door. Upon being confronted by Walmart loss prevention, the male ran out the door and proceeded to get into a white minivan. Less than an hour later, the same male returned and took another tent from the shelf and this time went to return the tent without a receipt. The male received a $60 Walmart gift card. When The Loss Prevention was able to intervene, the male pushed his way out the door and left.

However, in order to get a return without a receipt at Walmart, you must show your I.D. and it is now on file. Police issued a warrant for his arrest.
