CROSSVILLE WOMAN PASSES AWAY IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

A motorcycle accident late yesterday in Cumberland County claimed the life of a Crossville woman. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 1992 Harley Davidson operated by 52-year-old Charla B. Hendrix was traveling south on Flynns Cove Road when she ran off the road in a curve and struck a barb wire fence and fence post. Hendrix was ejected off the motorcycle and passed away from injuries sustained. Troopers say Hendrix was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. This accident yesterday made the fourth fatality on Cumberland County roads in 38 hours.
