CUMBERLAND CO COVID-19 CASES REACHES ALL TIME HIGH
Cumberland County’s Active COVID-19 cases increased by 546 in one week to 1,267 on Saturday, January 22, 2022. The county’s positive case count rose by 843 to 13,776 on Saturday, January 22, 2022. The death toll went up by 1 to 289 on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
Statewide, there were an additional 118, 639 positive COVID-19 cases in one week, bringing the total to 1,771,783 on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Tennessee’s COVID-19 deaths increased by 457 over the same period and the state’s death toll was 22,151 on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
According to the State Profile Report, the COVID-19 death rate in Tennessee now leads the nation.
