Two individuals charged with child abuse appeared in Cumberland County Criminal Court today. In the first case, 42-year-old Stephan Randy Allen of Cookeville supposedly struck a child. In court, Judge Wesley Bray accepted a reduced charge of reckless endangerment and sentenced Allen to 11 months 29 days probation. The second case involved Brandon Luke Baron. Judge Bray set a sentencing hearing for November 14, 2019 for the class D felony.
