Crossville, TN – On March 2, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies and Investigators were dispatched to the Pleasant Hill area on Highway 70 West where a body was found in a ditch.

Sheriff’s Investigators are processing the scene and conducting an investigation. The identity of the individual is not known and the body is being sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy and positive identification. Additional releases will be forthcoming as information is available.
