• The Cause: Following T-Mobile’s recent acquisition of U.S. Cellular, Grassy Cove’s distinct topography has left many residents with severe or total signal loss.

• Public Safety Risk: The outage has created a dangerous hazard, heavily impairing residents’ ability to reach 911 emergency services.

Following a formal complaint filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the resolution officially requests T-Mobile collaborate directly with county and emergency officials to resolve the issue.
